Invitation to press conference: The city of Malmö presents the host city programme during Eurovision

The city of Malmö invites journalists to a press conference with representatives from various parts of Malmö, for a presentation of the programme planned throughout the city during Eurovision week. We will also be treated with concrete previews of the programme.

Participants in the press conference:

  • Karin Karlsson, managing director city host event Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö
  • Attila Juhasz, project manager, programme
  • Anna Storåkers, programme manager
  • Representatives from Malmö business community

When: Wednesday 3rd April, at 13:30 CET. There will be time for individual interviews afterwards.
Where: Malmö Live, ESC Information Point in the foyer
Registration: The invitation is for journalists and media. Registration is required at press@malmo.se before Tuesday 2nd April at 15:00 CET.

Eurovision in Malmö: A sneak peak of the host city's festivities

When people from over 80 countries come to Malmö, the city wants to offer a broad and unique programme for everyone. The programme is being organized together with the civil society along with Malmö's cultural and business community. With just over 40 days to go until the start of Eurovision week, the City of Malmö is giving a first sneak peak of its hosting.

Visitors from over 80 countries are coming to Malmö for Eurovision

The global interest in Eurovision is increasing. When the music competition takes place in Malmö, there will be an audience from more than 80 countries. The major Eurovision nations are well represented. But Malmö will receive visitors from virtually all corners and continents of the world.
